Moods
Moods is a theater piece designed to creatively explore the complexities of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) through the lens of easy-listening music. This piece will be an independent continuation of my previous work, where I talked about my struggles of making ends meet as a composer through eight karaoke songs I had written especially for that performance. This performance will invite audiences to engage with the emotional spectrum and physical symptoms associated with PMDD, all while experiencing the comforting and familiar tones of the easy-listening genre. By juxtaposing emotional narratives with soothing music, I aim to create a thought-provoking yet accessible exploration of this often-misunderstood disorder.

Eygló Höskuldsdóttir Viborg
Eygló Höskuldsdóttir Viborg is a composer and performance artist known for her innovative blending of music and performance art. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music in 2017. Just a year later, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, which enabled her to pursue a Master of Music in Concert Music Composition at New York University, where she studied under the mentorship of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Julia Wolfe and acclaimed composer Robert Honstein. She completed her M.Mus in 2020.
In addition to her accomplishments in composition, Eygló is currently preparing to receive her Master of Arts degree in Performance Art from the Iceland University of the Arts in spring 2025. Through her artistic endeavors, she explores the intersection of music and performance, creating immersive experiences that engage audiences in unique and thought-provoking ways.
Eygló's work reflects her commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and her passion for storytelling through sound and movement.
